We've seen a lot of confusion among our clients about what 4G means, and if their new smartphones can take advantage of the faster networks. This is compounded by the lies currently airing as advertisements by all four of our major carriers.

While sites like Engadget already have their formal review posted we'll be taking another week to run the Atrix through its paces before putting our thoughts online. For the time being we have to praise this phone for being fast, stylish, and the most capable Android handset we've ever used. However, AT&T's supposed "4G" network is another story. It appears that the phone is showing 4G coverage (H+) regardless of whether or not you're actually getting AT&T's new HSPA+ signal. The resulting slow online speeds are disappointing at best, and a flat out lie from AT&T about what new owners of this phone and the Inspire 4G can expect.
